My husband and I went to Market on the weekend for lunch - it's in the old Yardhouse on 17th Ave SW down from Melrose. The lunch menu is a bit small/limited, but we had the charcuterie and cheese plates to share. We were a bit disappointed - the charcuterie had two different kinds of preserved trout which filled about half the board, then a small amount of other cured meats and pickles. Neither of us are huge preserved fish fans, so it was a bit of a waste to us. Their house made mustard and pickles were excellent, however and the other cured meats were nice. The cheese plate was four servings of the same thing - goat cheese and parmesan crisps on a small toasted baguette slice with a bit of drizzled honey - good, but I expected a variety of cheeses to go with the charcuterie.
We're willing to go back and give a full meal a try - I can tell the food is good, but our selection just wasn't right for us. A FYI for people with little kids - they don't have highchairs.
