Very similar to Hertl’s goal at 1:40

You can't diminish what the Blues have accomplished, and how well they are playing. But we are a long ways from the playoffs and I'd still be very surprised if they get out of their division.

What does Berube have to do to lose the interim tag?

Just like in 1986. My father is still stunned by the Monday night miracle that led to game 7 of that series.

So I suppose now that we have some games against the Ducks coming up they will no longer be playing like garbage?

That's nutty.

That is definitely possible, even catching the Jets who are just 3 points up on the Predators could happen.

That's if they remain in the divisional position, they could be playing a Pacific division team in the 1st round should they finish 7th or 8th in the conf.

Haha, yea, that team seems to have the Flames' number no matter how crappy a season they might be having. Thankfully our next two games against them are at home, so there's at least a good chance we'll win those. It's the one in Anaheim on April 3rd that you can probably put down as a loss..because Honda Center.

Meh. That curse was broken, by GG no less. It may be the best thing he did as a coach. Jobu was, I must say, a bit inspired.

5 at 6 in regulation

That was a wide open back and forth game. People in hockey pools must have been happy. Malkin, Letang, and Zuccarello each had 2 goals. Crosby with 3 assists and Kreider with 2. The win puts the Penguins in a 3 way tie with the Habs and BJs at 69 points for the last 3 playoff spots. The shots were 44-41 in favour of the Rangers.

The Blues are just unstoppable winning 10 straight. Binnington with the 31 save SHUTOUT, his 2nd straight shutout and the Blues third 3rd shutout win in a row. Simply amazing. The Wild had 4 straight PPs in the 3rd period and the Blues PK was perfect going 5 for 5 in the game. Tarasenko with a 3 point game.

3 at1

The Flyers win both home-away games, great goaltending by Hart as he made 37 saves in the win. Provorov scored the GWG early in the 3rd period as the Red Wings out shot the Flyers 12-4 in the final period. Philly keeps its slim playoff hopes alive as they are 12-1-1 in the past 14 games, 6 points back of the last 3 playoff spots.

The Devils spoil the Sabres playoff hopes. Schneider played very well in net for the Devils making 34 saves. Palmeri had 3 points (1g, 2a).

The pregame ceremony was very touching and emotional for everyone as it was the 1 year memorial of the school shooting in Florida. That was tough seeing the victims' relatives on the ice. The result doesn't matter for either team.

The pregame ceremony was a long one as the Ducks retired Scott Neidermeyer's #27. The Ducks were fired up for this game and Miller time was back in net and made 23 saves. Holtby was busier as the Ducks out shot the Capitals 39-25. Henrique had a 3 point game and Anaheim is just 5 point back of the 8th place Wild.
