The year of the RFA's coming off ELC

The year of the RFA coming off ELC. 5 of the top 20 players in point production right now are on ELC's and set to be RFA's at the end of the season. This does not even include Matthews or Laine.

One of our very own Matthew Tkachuk falls in that list which makes it even more interesting. Here is the rest in the top 100 by point production this season:

It will be fascinating to see how everything unfolds. Matthews, Laine and Boeser all with down years but great numbers last couple seasons.

Will Colorado play hard ball with Rantanen, not wanting to give him much more then Mackinnon.

Leafs are likely to have 30M+ tied up in 3 players after this summer. Although talks of a 5 or 6 year contract for one or both of Matthews and Marner could get it under that.

And how will the other signings effect Tkachuk.
