Not really surprised. Sutter wasn’t the right choice of coach for this team. Not saying he is not the right choice going forward but for this season he is not. The makeup of this team could never play Sutter hockey. I’ll get burned for this but Ward would probably have this makeup of flames a few more wins . Again Sutter still a good coach but this team needs to be changed.

We can not score, skate or hit actually which is strange. Instead of taking the body, flames are guessing where the puck is going and they are usually wrong. And for sure Hutchison is looking like a superstar goalie. If i was DS I would be breaking sticks unless I knew massive changes were coming including a useless GM , who should be gone. Perhaps nice guy should be BTs profession.

The hockey they were playing for the last 10 games or so under Ward was some of the worst, most boring, and most uninspired hockey I have ever had to watch.

They would not be winning more if he were still here.

This is definitely not about the coach. The coach is fine. This is about the GM and the organization which is completely rotten. The organization needs to be gutted. Look at the Heat, they are playing like Flames junior. Not much help is coming. Lots of 3rd and forth liners coming. We will be the worst team in the NHL next year. Thank you BT, let’s load up on veterans at the TD and give up draft choices because we are in win desire now. What a joke.
