Is this the make or break game?

A win here could really ignite the club for the playoff drive. A loss could spell disaster following a heartbreaker OT loss that was a literal split second from a regulation W.

And regarding Kylington. I think it's safe to say he is the #1 black ace from here on out, we wont see him unless theres an injury or we are out of it.

The final result of last game certainly makes this game feel more important. With a win against Nashville, a loss against TB wouldn't seem like a big deal. However, anything short of their best effort would feel very deflating.

Looking at this road trip i was expecting nothing but a loss in this one...but if they can play like they have this whole trip, they have a chance. Even getting out with one point would be a huge win.

I've come to believe that if they'd beaten Nashville, they would've come out totally flat this weekend and get zero of four points.

But now they'll be motivated and pissed off. Four points incoming.

I’m expecting a loss with tomorrow being the important one to win. Lose both and it makes things pretty tough going forward.

Need to be disciplined in order to come out with the W this afternoon. All four lines will have to get involved because you know Tampa will be rolling all four of theirs. I think this game comes down to the special teams matchup.

I'll take a Talbot shutout, if he's in.

Sportsnet is going to run the BOS-NYI game through ours aren't they.

I wish they would give this a go:

Gaudreau-Monahan-Lindholm
Tkachuk-Backlund-Mangiapane
Bennett-Ryan-Dube
Lucic-Jankowski-Reider

Bottom six hasn’t done much of anything lately, see if Dube and Bennett can find some more chemistry.

2 wins 2 losses.

7-3 Blowout against Pittsburgh at home and 4-2 win at home against the Yotes

We did lose the last two 5-3 to Philly and 3-1 to the Ducks both on the road

So hopefully this will be their first road win on the 29th of feb!

I think the Flames that played the Bruins will show up today. We are going to pull this one off.

No. If the lose today and win tomorrow that's 7/10 points on a tough road trip, which is excellent.

At this point I tend to think the only "make-or-break" games left on the schedule are Divisional games and the last one that either clinches or eliminates them from the playoffs. A win today would be fantastic. A loss would be disappointing, but surely not what breaks them—not with how the Flames have been playing lately.
