What a screw-up. Smith didn't know game was tied.

LeBron is gonna cut JR in half if they lose this game.

jr smith is a terrible player. 32 minutes so far, 2 for 9 for 7 points. How this guy keeps playing this much is beyond me (he's only makes shots vs Raptors). What kind of lala land was he in? Lebron not happy at all.

In a week in which Ambien was in the news, what JR did is more of a side effect of Ambien than what Roseanne did.

What else can a defender do, and why is that even reviewable?

Missed free throw and then with an open path to the rim he thinks they have the lead...just crazy and they story of what Lebron is working with here.

LeBron was moving sideways into Durant.
Not sure why that should be reviewable though.

LeBron nearly has a 50+ point triple double and they still lose. I hope the Cavs get swept simply so during game four the Cleveland fans can give LeBron the round of applause he deserves before he leaves.

JR Smith should not step foot on the court for the rest of the series. Garbage.
Also Thompson was just checking to see if a basketball will fit in Green's mouth. He was right.

To be fair, the reporter did seem to be challenged in the brain. He answered you dude, you didn't get the answer you were trying to lead him to, take the L and stop asking the same question.

Lebron is the GOAT, shouldve had more than 8 assists too if his team was just half decent. The stats speak for themselves. He has 21 more 30 pt playoff games than Kobe.
Jordan couldn’t do what lebron has done with these god awful teams.

Smith’s second explanation came later in the locker room, when he told a media horde that he was expecting someone on the Cavaliers to call timeout.
“I thought we were going to take a timeout because I got the rebound,” Smith said. “I looked over at LeBron and he looked like he was trying to get a timeout. I stopped, and the game was over.”
In this version of events, Smith insisted that he was reluctant to shoot out of deference to Durant’s length. He added that he would have held on to the ball and allowed himself to be fouled if he had thought his team was leading. His pass to Hill, Smith argued, was evidence that he knew the correct score all along.
“I knew it was tied,” he claimed. “I tried to get enough space because Kevin was standing right there. I tried to bring it out and get enough space to maybe get a shot off. He already had [three] blocks so I wasn’t trying to become the [fourth].”

Can't he just swallow his pride and admit he made a mental gaffe? Outside his mom, is anyone believing that take? The bigger thing for him going forward is he has to play much better for them to have a chance. Cause if you need LeBron to drop 50/8/8 to be competitive, it's not gonna be a long series.

Whatever JR. If you knew the game was tied then dribbling the ball back to half court is maybe even stupider than not knowing the score.
