Heads up! LEGO is holding a vote to select an upcoming Star Wars UCS set. You can vote at https://ideas.lego.com/

Choices are:
  • Republic Gunship
  • Tie Bomber
  • Nebulon C Frigate

All are awesome, but for me it's the Gunship.

I love the Republic Gunship, I thought it was the second best ship design in the PT after the Venater which is a georgeous design. But I would have to go with the Frigate which is iconic

While I agree with both your points, I'm concerned with how the Nebulon would turn out in LEGO format. I'd imagine it would be similar to the Tantive IV, which as cool as it is, is not as good as other UCS sets.

Also, it's the Nebulon B (not C) as I indicated in my OP. Apologies.

I really wish they'd make Home One.

Won't actually buy, but the freighter would look badass on display in the background of some Lego themed room.

All I need is both a place with an extra room and a partner that allows a Lego Star wars themed room.

I'm still thinking that I would love to buy the Star Destroyer, though I'm looking for a model with the light up option, it would look cool in my office in a display case.

Star Destroyers are awesome.

Star Destroyers are awesome.
I'd actually take the SD over the Millenium Falcon, to be honest. But, the price tag on either has prevented any purchase!

All of you deserve to have your nerd cards revoked. That's a Nebulon B. Also, I've wanted a set for it for decades.

So, I kind of have a bunch of large IKEA bins of Lego that the kids have since become disinterested in. How to people usually sell mixed collections and stuff? Is it by weight or volume or something?

Mostly by weight, but if you can part the sets out you will definitely get more money. It's a huge pain though!

Thanks, I think the “trying to identify the sets” ship has sailed. Weight it is!

Rumors have it that LEGO's Summer wave of Star Wars sets will be Prequel/Clone Wars heavy. I am excited. It would be nice for some updated builds, as well as "normal" minifigs vs the "Clone Wars" aesthetic they tried out.

Venator, Acclaimer, and Arc-170 fighters would be awesome sets. The Venator is what I think the most beautiful ship design in Star Wars Lore. They could also have a massive Trade Federation Lucrehulk (sp?) as a model. Oh and the clean looking Y-Wing from the Clone Wars series would be awesome.

LEGO has previous models of the Venator, Arc-170 and Clone Wars era Y-Wing, so I think chances are good we see at least one of those. People are definitely clamoring for an updated Venator!

Looks like the Republic Gunship won the fan vote, and will be released as an upcoming UCS set.

Lego Masters debuted on TV tonight, and I had to watch it, pretty tough competition in the first round and fun to watch.
