Man, this has been a thoroughly entertaining game. Both teams playing well and playing to their strengths.

Yeah. Really silly of the 4th line not to get off anything there with a 3 on 1. One of Rieder or Janko should've shot it. Besides, Flames need anything they can get from their 4th line because it's been minimal at best offensively, so why not try a shot there, you never know what could've happened if you don't try.

6? Where is that number coming from? And that doesn't include the games played where Kiprusoff was Turek's backup, nor does it include the 24 playoff games.
Wasn't Turek/Kiprusoff a thing basically non-stop from mid-November to June, minus the January injury?

I've posted a couple times in this thread.
The Flames are by far the worst team in the NHL in terms of what percentage of their shot attempts end up as shots on goal (51.62%).
There are very few teams within even 2%.
In terms of unblocked shot attempts, the Flames have 1162 shots on net and on 1667 total unblocked attempts, which equates to 505 missed shots.
That's brutal.
