Blasty brings the greatest players in Flames' history together.
When did Kipper wear the Blasty jersey? Or are you talking about when he was on the shoulders?

Spoiler!

(Spoiler for size)

I found this online. I also have pictures from the Calgary Herald with Kipper, Phaneuf, and Iggy in the black 3rd jersey's I collected while growing up. I'll have to dig them up from the shoeboxes.

This.

I personally think Snotty jerseys are the only instance where black looks especially good on Flames silks.

Maybe make a modern tweak to the red sleeves, otherwise would be an awesome third with the retros rightfully being the only primaries for the Flames.

Interesting. I thought we were wearing red jerseys full time in 2003-2004. Were the black jerseys our third jerseys for a bit?

No, the A was photoshopped on too. At first, I thought it was Gelinas, but the gloves didn't match. Then, I searched for "Clarke Wilm black Flames" and the photo came up.

Spoiler!

L.A Kings just announced brought back the 90s era Chevy jersey for 2 nights.

Wonder if we could see a similar return for ol Blasty.

The Kings and the Canucks, two teams thst can never hold onto a look. Every couple years they throw back to a previous version. The Canucks are bringing back the black skate jersey as a retro this year.

They never should have deviated from those beauties.

Chevrolet (/ˌʃɛvrəˈleɪ/ SHEV-rə-LAY), colloquially referred to as Chevy and formally the Chevrolet Division of General Motors Company, is an American automobile division of the American manufacturer General Motors (GM)

I think those are ok, but neither team really has come out with a great look yet IMO

Probably why they always seem like they're changing - nothing has really stuck

I think the OP coined the name.
Everyone's always called that trash the flaming snot horse around here. I always hated it. Loved the team bit hated that Crest.
I had also thought it was almost universally disliked, so it's a little surprising to see so many admirers here.
