I just read the OT rules. That's wild

Like the soccer shootout, each team will try 5 2-point conversions

No kicking an extra point after aTD either. You can go for either 1, 2, or 3 points from the 2, 5, or 10 yard line respectively.

Eh, generic logos, generic players.

Guess Seattle, it has fire so close to Flames.

I read that all 4 games had crowds in the 17000's. That's not bad but not that great. The first XFL had larger crowds in their first few weeks. It also looks bad when only 17000 show up at MetLife stadium that holds over 80000....It makes 13000 at BMO for an Argo game looked absolutely packed.

And the gong show commences...

Quote:
The XFL's Los Angeles Wildcats made a series of unusual moves Monday, two days after losing their first game in the league's inaugural season.

The Wildcats fired defensive coordinator Pepper Johnson in a decision that head coach Winston Moss called "difficult."

Meanwhile, linebacker and team captain Anthony Johnson tweeted that he is now a "free agent."
Fire your DC and cut your team captain after ONE game.

LOL!!

IMO Houston

Calgary is pretty much Houston North and we've got Roughnecks in Calgary too

Also, Seattle has been marked as the team with the worst chance of winning the Championship according to odd makers

People like football, there is no football between Feb and June; this gives an opportunity to watch more football, why not give it a chance?
It may be bad for the CFL if the XFL succeeds?

I saw someone at espn said that the stadium where the mls team plays, I think the red bulls, actually won the bid, but McMahon said football in New York is at MetLife

Which is just dumb thinking, like is said above the DC stadium was perfect, that's what this league should shoot for, 15-20k

I'd also go super cheap on the tickets for at least year 1, build the fanbase

Appeasing their rabid fanbase that demanded heads roll after that opening season loss!

The Houston logo/team name is totally a blatant rip off of the Oilers.

Another XFL run to be cancelled under dubious circumstances?

Looking at the crowds a lot of the games wouldn't look much different if they played the games with no attendance. A lot of those announced crowds of 12,000 look like 1,200 actual people in the stadium.
