I have a friend who doesn't care for eating. It's not even really a health thing, he just gets no pleasure from eating and doesn't care what he eats - it's just fuel to him. When we were roommates a bag of bread, some rice, and maybe some carrots were all he needed. And of course beer. He regarded going out to eat, or ordering a pizza, as a pointless waste of money.

I hate the obligation of keeping myself alive. Eating three times per day is excessively annoying, and I just don't enjoy food all that much. Going out to eat is "meh" and I always feel guilty and horrible about wasting money on fancy food that just ends up in the toilet. I only eat "real food" though, i.e., I don't buy processed stuff, and I also cook meals that can be frozen for work, I just hate doing it.
I don't like "things" either, I spend my $$ on experiences and live very modestly. I want to be able to move out overnight if necessary, and without help, so I do not gather "things". I have exactly 4 things that mean anything to me and 2 of them are cats. The third is a replaceable laptop, and the fourth is an irreplaceable stuffie that is older than 95% of my colleagues
It's mostly the obligation I hate, though. Irritating.

We experience the world through our senses. I can't imagine having a distaste (pardon the pun) for one of the senses. It would be like saying "I don't like seeing things". There are so few pleasures in life it seems a shame to not be able to enjoy one of them.

I did the soylent thing for a while. Works best with some fruit or toast or something on the side. Otherwise it's just not satiating enough. It's not bad though. Convenient as heck.
