What draft eligible player have you soured on?
From mid season draft rankings to now, I'm sure all of us have a player that we have soured on somewhat. Other guys bumping him out, warts exposed, or just too long at the top and you got bored of him.

For me it's Reinhart ...
I'll still be happy to get him, don't get me wrong. But I've gone from hoping and praying to now almost hoping he goes at 2 and Bennett falls instead.
Add in my Draisaitl curiosity and things have really changed in my mind.
Still want Ekblad though ... and still don't want to pay much to move up and get him.

Bennett for me.
It has nothing to do with the chin up, but I am opposite to Bingo. I hope Buffalo takes Bennett and Reinhart falls to us.

It's always been Draisaitl for me, I watched him hard at the World Juniors and just can't get over his lackluster performance.

None. I would be happy with the Flames picking any of those guys.
Minus Nylander of course. I haven't soured on him. He just wasn't on my list to begin with.

I honestly don't think I can vote, nor can I adequately answer the question.

Draisatl.
Seems very soft and lazy to me.
I know people have said Kopitar in relation to him but he reminds more of Nik Antripov kind if player.

I chose Draisaitl because he doesn't seem to have the fire of the Flames culture.
I'm surprised nobody has chosen Ritchie.

I picked Nylander. By all accounts he's a pretty selfish player, an individualist. I'm glad he's not on the Flames radar.

Maybe not "soured", but im not nearly as high on Bennett as some others. An average sized guy playing a feisty, aggressive game reeks of Gilbert Brule to me. Welcome to injury town.

As long as the Flames place a length-wise mirror in the back of his stall, then he'll be just fine.

None. Other then a couple youtube videos and what I've read from other posters, I know nothing really about any of them other then the positions they play. They are also 18 year old kids. I don't see how anyone can really ''sour'' themselves over them.

I can't say I soured on anyone, but picked Dal Colle. Either him or Bennett I found myself become slightly less interested in, but would still be happy to have the Flames draft.

Nylander used to be #4 for me, but I don't even see him in the top 10 for me anymore.

The one guy you didn't include on the list, Ehlers.

The last minute hype on Ritchie IMO is a major red flag. I'm not a fan of late risers (Jankowski for instance) as they don't get as heavily scrutinized as the consensus top guys. I prefer to go with the players that have been over-analyzed and micro-analyzed as the top prospects for the entire year.

guys that fall have always been more dangerous for me.
Poirier was a mover last year, that seems to be working out

I wouldn't call Poirier a late riser as there was very little pre-draft hype regarding him and it sounds like only the Flames and maybe Habs had him graded as a 1st round talent. Jankowski had much more pre-draft late hype around him.
You could look at Shinkaruk last year as a guy that fell but pre-draft there was a lot of talk about his attitude and one-dimensional game so it was warranted. We simply haven't heard any of these issues from Reinhart and it sounds like he's taking a hit because of his skating despite the fact that the German guy isn't exactly a burner. I still think the Panthers and Lightning will regret passing on Jones last year.

I voted Ritchie but not because I have soured on him, I've never bought into him as a top 7 or 8 pick. All this talk of him at 4 or 5 is quite crazy.
