Question is how. Seriously because if we are going anywhere in April we need these guys back in form.

I'm sorry but I don't see how the Flames dominated plays, in fact, I was quite surprised the shot on LA net was that high. The were absolutely terrible tonight, the PP has no urgency whatsoever. Everybody was like playing in slow motion.

I’ve really liked the way the 3m line is playing, idk if I’d split them up. Their generating chances and controlling the play, just struggling to finish in these past 2 games. Backlund is very hot and cold when it comes to finishing in front of the net.

The top line has carried the team through large portions of this season, I’m sure they will figure it out.

The PP is definitely concerning though. Gotta fix that crap sooner than later.

Smith with another terrific game, but I'd really like to see Rittich against Dallas.

Hopefully the Wings can do us a favor tonight. Would be nice to lock up the division as early as possible so we can start resting guys.
My thoughts exactly. Bring on the Tars.

Totally agree. Gaudreau is also struggling and so we need a traditional center on that line who can help drive the play. As soon as the puck is on monahans stick the opportunity is gone. We need zone time to get chances for that top line.

Hopefully it's just a matter of them taking the games more serious when it's playoff time

I like Monahan he is a 30 goalscorer and they are hard to find

What really bothers me is when he goes through a slump there is no emotion from him. Never goes into the corners never tries to hit or mix it up and has no energy.

That being said it's hard to teach that into someone's game, you either have it or you dont

Totally agree I didnt see a game where calgary dominated at all 41shots mostly perimeter with barely any scoring chances.

He got a post too. A ton of bobbled passes, deflections, missed shots from the Flames, didn't exactly make it hard on Campbell.

Just 1 game, but it's concerning how they basically couldn't find a way to come back from a 1 goal deficit even though they got 50 minutes. Despite all their comebacks, the Flames record after getting scored on 1st is really mediocre. It seems like on some nights you can tell pretty early what kind of game it's going to be from them. Games against Dallas away, Arizona away, Minnesota on Iggy night, etc. I'm sure we'll see similar game plans from opponents in the playoffs.

Monahan's got to come out or get moved to a different line. His giveaways, poor puck control, poor cycle play, slow skating, and inability to get shots off are hurting the team. Play ryan up there again, he was great there when Monahan was out and has been great ever since.

PP was the reason they lost.

How many damn times to the flames need to get shut out. Geez it feels like its either a blowout win then others can't buy a goal to save their lives.

Gaudreau looked about at his worst tonight. Monahan and Lindholm not far behind.

They really need to pick it up. I think Johnny's mostly been good, but his finishers have gone cold.

It has never been nor will it ever be a part of his game or DNA.

I think it’s time for some more Derek Ryan 1C action

And call Dubé back up

Gaudreau-Ryan-Tkachuk
Mangiapane-Monahan-Lindholm
Dubé-Backlund-Frolik
Bennett-Janko-Hathaway

And get Kylington back in for the love of excitement, Fantenberg is good but boring

You want excitement and take Hathaway out of the lineup?

This is the 5th time the Flames have been shut out, and the 1st at home.

November 23 in Vegas
December 9 in Edmonton (on a back to back)
December 18 in Dallas
March 7 in Arizona (on a back to back)
