News: Heat forward Kerby Rychel had surgery this week and will be out for the season


Finishes the season with 23 goals and 20 assists in 57 games with Stockton.

Shame. I figured he had a decent shot at being a black ace. Still think he has NHL upside (albeit as 4th line depth).

I see the Heat signed a couple of NCAA kids to PTOs today.

Too bad about Rychel though. Nice to have depth in case of an extended playoff run.
