Don't want to be too critical of a young person but those anthems in the Panthers/Oilers game were........ not great.

Don't expect to get much help from the Panthers today. They've been in an awful tailspin the last two weeks. Terrible, terrible hockey overall from them. They've squandered a solid playoff spot to be on the outside looking in.

Just can't figure out their defense. Everyone plays high risk which leads to lots of offense, but they are constantly giving up grade A chances every minute or two. Just not a winning formula, but they also don't have the personnel to play a strong defensive game either. Goalies have been hit or miss depending on the night. I think Bobrovsky is just shell-shocked at the moment.

Here's hoping they find a way today, but it's been hard to watch lately for Panthers fans.

That's the problem. There is no dominant team the Pacific. With the NHL's favorable treatment to the Oilers they could win a round or two. I don't think they can beat whoever comes out of the Central. But I don't want to risk it. The best time for them to fall out of the race is now.
