Oilers getting demolished by a playoff caliber team with actual depth? You don't say!

Compare Remenda and Hrudey.

Night and day. Embarrassing for the Oilers. A fan with pom poms and poor judgement. No idea how he has a job.

The formula is simple. Shut down McDrai and it’s a W. I don’t know why more teams don’t do what Kesler did in their playoff series, just follow him around and harass him all night. You shut down the top line the next 9 aren’t a worry.

Teams have been shadowing McD but that leaves Drai open...its not a popular opinion but I still think he is a good player that is great with McDavid

I agree........but those two are great players. Really tough to shut down. Even holding them to a point would usually be a victory. That team has zero depth. If those two stay healthy and play a ton of minutes and rack up a ton of points that team has a chance of making the playoffs. If one of those things doesn't happen.........they're done.

MacKinnon just skated through the entire Oilers team.

And promptly hooked by McDavid right in the hands in front of the official and no call, shocker in a 4-1 Oilers deficit...

Ethan Bear should get consideration for the Calder. Yeah, we get it. I mean, if Makar and Hughes and a bunch of others miss the rest of the season, sure. Or if by 'consideration' you mean 1 3rd place vote by an Edmonton writer, sure.

He should get consideration because he’s a rookie. OK, I considered it. No.

They just showed the third goal replay where Bear totally muffs the play right after touting him as a Calder candidate.
