The Leafs actually look really motivated after dumping Babcock. Hopefully Treliving is watching this transformation and planning his next move with Peters.

Teams frequently look great right after a coaching change. It is pretty often only a temporary solution, though. We'll see what happens in TO: do thy respond like the Blues? Or slide back to where they were like the Oilers or the LA Kings?

So the obvious answer is rotating through coaches during the year. A new coach every 10 to 15 games. That should provide an added benefit that game style will change constantly so it will make it more difficult for opponents to study video and prep for games.

Oh wow, Valeri Nichushkin scores for the Avs to cut the Leafs' lead to 4-3. His first goal since March 4, 2016 vs NJ, when he was still a member of the Dallas Stars.

HAHAHA!

The Habs were up 4-0 over the New York Rangers in the 2nd period. The Rags have come all the way back twice and now lead it 6-5.

Stupid Habs.

2nd cross check has got to hurt. Pretty cheap play.

^ That's a suspension. Or at least it ####ing should be. Player was defenseless and unaware. Play was long gone.

The first hit was pretty bad as well.

That was a super piece of sh1t play by Bortuzzo. Lost all respect for him. 2nd cross check he went completely thug lumberjack on Arvidsson.

Will be very disappointed in DOPS if that ass hat doesn't receive any suspension for that.

Why does Fleury always stone us and then look like crap against the Oilers? 2 goals against on 9 shots.

McDrai are pretty dominant out there together. Honest question, has there ever been a duo this far ahead of everyone else? Gretzky/Kurri had a few 1/2 years but Kurri was always close to the #3 guy.

Listening to the Oilers game. The announcer says that their top line (McD, Drai, Kass) have 41 goals combined. The ENTIRE REST OF THE TEAM has 36.

Kinda says it all about the Oilers.

Yeah. Their bottom 6 is straight up orange trash. I mean Archibald-Sheahan-Nygard and Granlund-Haas-P. Russell as their bottom lines? lulz.

You can arguably say there's not 1 NHL calibre player among those two lines.
