I've only played 3 of windmills courses (Hamptons, Springbank, and Silverwing).. Not really impressed with any of them. Hopefully they don't ruin Heritage. Its a great track.

Well at least you can get one more year of Heritage before Windmill screws it up.

My First round at Silver Springs this year is tomorrow
Four of the holes will have Temp Greens
Played Shaganappi last weekend and it was pretty good. Only $40

To be fair, at least two of these courses were never great to begin with.

Played my first round yesterday and played like the Edmonton Oilers, just awful.
Had a round booked for today but cancelled due to bad headaches.

I was not a Tiger fan back in his prime playing days but will admit it is great to see him back and competitive again. Watched on TV through the 12th hole but missed the rest. Bummer, looks like I missed a great finish.

I really struggle with the Tiger redemption story. On the one hand its always nice to see people pull their lives together after it all falls apart as its motivating to others. On the other hand, some of the things his did (infidelity, DUI) I think are very serious and were of his own doing.

The DUI was because of accidentally mixed drugs no? 0.00 for alchohol.
Infidelity? Who cares.

How did the course winter?
I got out to River's Edge last Wednesday and it was in surprisingly good shape.

Based on the "thanks" you are getting, I suppose I'm in the minority. I do wonder how many people who liked your post would say "who cares" if their spouse/partner cheated on them with several other partners.

He just seems like a standoffish dick. Who cares about Tiger?

His ex-wife should care and did care. She has left him and took hundreds of millions of dollars of his money in the process. By all media accounts she's doing very well and they are "good friends" with Tiger now. Who else do you have in mind?

really, what would your demeanor be like if you were in his shoes?
He seems like fun, when he is away from the media and not playing.
For the most part he has been very accommodating with the press.
Other golfers say he is cool with them, and he is willing to help everyone.
I couldn't imagine living his life, when every single second you are out in the public, people want something from you and watch your every move.
When every single time you say something, people are going to analyze it.
Having billions of dollars.
How do you even relate to the millions of regular Joes that want a pic with you?
I'd come off as dick too, if I were him.

The course did great over the winter. Greens are okay but slow due to not cutting them and allowing them to grow a bit. All we need is a bit rain followed by some hot weather to get the course to green up.
Course has introduced a member/guest rate where guests who play with members get 10% off green fees. Weekday: $40 and Weekends: $53
Send me a PM if you ever want to play

Decided this morning to go play some golf. My golfing buddies couldn't go so I ended playing with a father/son duo. It took us 2 hours to play 5 holes as I was constantly waiting for them to hit a ball or find one they lost. Finally I had enough and told them I was quitting and said goodbye to both of them.
Went over to the 10th tee hoping to find a threesome with an opening and as luck would have it I found a group and joined them. We did the last nine in just over an hour + 15 minutes and the best part was there was no one holding us up.

Slow play drives me nuts. At 2 hours for 5 holes I’d have lost it long before then!
Walked Lynx Ridge today and shot 83 for the first round of the year. It was almost too nice out, got a lot of sun.

My buddies and I will often play a round in 3 hours walking if nobody is holding us up.
Weekends are the worst times for slow play.
