Are they even doing a series still?

I enjoyed the pilot, I think it is doubtful that it will become an actual show though. However I will take whatever escape I can back into that gritty rebooted version of BSG.

Finally had a chance to watch all the webisodes. I liked this a lot.

Agree with Captain Crunch they should have toned down the Cylon's to keep it consistent with earlier story lines.

Interesting to see some of the BSG cast in this.

Hopefully there's more.

the 2 hour movie, which included all the webisodes, aired last night on Syfy. The DVD, which will be 30 extra minutes comes out next week.

I'll probably have to pick it up.

I really would like to see a series as long as it doesn't become too much about the question of existence.

Just a flat out war. While BSG had some excellent space battles I think a battle between a bunch of base stars and a fleet of battlestars with thousands of fighters going at it would be something to strive for.

I'd love to see a good ground battle with a army of Cylons throwing themselves at a defensive line of Colonial Marines.

There could be a link back to Caprica with the Cylons trying to evolve due to a human consciousness trapped in a Cylon body, and showing more of that leap towards humanity.

But I really don't want to see invisible angels again.

I waited to have the full thing on blu ray, and just watched it last night, wow did I really enjoy this movie.

Is there any hope of this becoming a real TV series?

A company called Anovos makes some pretty cool reproductions. I guess they supplied the series with a bunch of stuff and are (have been) auctioning off stuff from the series:

Saw them at the San Diego Comic-Con - impressive stuff if you have money to burn.

I don't think it is going ahead as a series.
