Former Bassist for the Bay City Rollers who at their height sold nearly 140 million albums. Sadly the bands story is more about the lawsuits then the music as the band didn't see much of the money that they made.


They were a huge piece of the feel good disco era

These guys were HUGE when I was growing up. They were always on the cover of Teen Beat, Tiger Beat, etc. They were/are seen as a boy band which is maybe why you never hear about them anymore.

They were a really talented band at the time.


Remember that disco era was the first real generation of manufactured music, where the record companies had control of every aspect of your life as an artist.



The Bay City Rollers were a prime example of that.
