On an aside, if the NHL goes the route of adding ads on the back on the bottom of the jerseys like they showed there, it'll be the last time I buy a jersey.

Maybe Hanowski is more valuable than we think he is?
What was he like #12 on our CP prospect list?
I think he plays a similar style to Monahan, although he's quite a bit worse. He'll just put up points by going to the net and making solid passes, nothing flashy. Remember his first goal against the Wild in his first game? It was that same "just go to the net and make things happen" style. I think he'll put up more points than people think he will.
Agostino was 12th btw. And as crazy as it sounds now, Bouma was 21st!
Well Bouma is a 4th liner, perhaps 3rd at most. A lot of people were voting with upside in mind and therefore potential top 4 defensemean and top two line forwards were going ahead of him just due to his limited upside. His likelihood of making the NHL was as high as any prospect on our list.
Wow! Wonder what Colborne would be on our list.. Probably a bit ahead of Knight..
That list was interesting, but ended up being mostly a popularity contest due to the fact that there were no stipulations on the choosing methodology.
Having seen Colborne a couple of times, I am not so sure I'd have him ranked in front of Knight just yet. I can definitely see why he was the odd man out in Toronto, he doesn't seem to have any particular asset (other than size) at an NHL level (might be a bit quick to judge though).

Nothing wrong with a dirty goal-getter. Those are the kinds of players we need to win battles in front of the net. I'm hoping Hanowski becomes that crash-and-bang winger that gets garbage goals. Every good team needs one.
Garbage goals helped us get to the Stanley Cup final a little while ago too. But I'll stop right there with the nostalgic talk though
