I find it amazing that all of the Brouwer haters have suddenly flip-flopped and are supporting him again

Still a lot to clean up, especially discipline, but good record to start. Smith is awesome.
Bring up Jankowski now, practice with the team for 4 days.

Always great to get the win, but we need to stop taking so many dumb penalties. We can't control what the other team gets called for, all we can control is what we do. Flames need to show some dicipline.
That said, congrats Jags!

Anyone have a clip of Jagr's point? I missed it.

Has Brouwer been better than Versteeg?
If Versteeg didn't have such a great contract, he'd probably be more of a whipping boy.
Canucks really didn't look great.
Pretty good PK throughout the game.

Well, he played like #### for an entire year, so it's not like they were just being irrational.

Good to get the win, but good to have a few days off now to iron some wrinkles.

1). Jagr on the first unit with JG on the right looked really good.
2) maybe brouwer's best game as a flame
3) officiating is really questionable - both ways - again

I think Brouwer has played fantastic the last 3 games. Really like his energy and physicality on that 4th line. Hope he keeps it up. Still disappointed with Bennett's play, would really like to see him played on the wing, if only to take some pressure off his shoulders and get his confidence back.

That first period was a clusterF but after that much better. Great job by our D. Doesn't Johnny get an assist in the Monahan goal? He passed it to Dougie?

it's because he's being used properly and doing what a good 4th liner does. I have no problem with him as a 4th liner, it's when he is on the pp and getting used in situations where he shouldn't be that people start bitching
