Nik just tied Darren Flutie with his 7th reception today.

Looks like Adams is hurt.

Wow, seeing Montreal's QB get seriously injured on an innocent tackle makes me so glad that Mitchell isn't playing tonight.

If it was me I would have had Messam out, too. He already had to be worked on once this game. It would be a disaster to lose him for playoffs.

I want to win this game, but I've always had a soft spot for Rakeem Cato after his tragic story and redemption in Canada. May have a fistpumped a little after that touchdown thrown, lol.

Nice return.

If there's one thing I've taken away from today it's that I no longer have faith that we have a back up QB that could come in and win a playoff game if Mitchell gets hurt at any point.

That was, I guess, I false comfort I had in having Tate as a back up. I guess as the years went on and the result of his new, crappier arm, we actually have a pretty weak back up that would likely result in a loss.

It's starting to look like the Stamps D will have to score at least one TD for Calgary today.

or special team. Tate is struggling for a long pass. He has to rely on short passes every play and running plays.

they could at least scored 3 points but had to settle for punting after the sack and damn penalty.

I just love Alex Singleton. He missed his chance for INT but instead of burying his head and getting ticked off, he made a couple of nice plays to prevent Montreal in scoring TD.

I know people don't like the attendance stuff from me but I wonder if this is a time the Calgary Flames actually take action against failing attendance. Historically there isn't reason to believe there will be a lot more ticket sales after the initial purchase rush.

Right now we're looking at about 25k, with the upper corners not even being opened for sale (which has been the case most of the season). Man, it would be nice if they just took and bit of a hit to get some people back in the stands and get some excitement going again.

Take advantage of the situation and think of the future instead of just the current bottom line. I'd imagine we'll probably see another thousand or two seats sold (based on usual playoff selling trends) and will have around 27k, so just over 2/3's full.

It sure would be nice to see them top the 30K mark, depending on the weather (yeah, I know it really shouldn't matter, but let's be honest, it does), but I agree, if the Grey Cup game can lower ticket prices, why don't the Stamps do so for the West final?
