Yeah, and the deGrom game, yesterday and today with Cole is getting a look at what playoff pitching will be like most of the time.

And the best we can counter with is Ryu and........

Is what it is, still rebuilding.

Teoscar is back. Merryweather starts. That lineup looks much better.

Hopefully Merryweather has his A stuff going.

So much more optimistic than if Anderson or Stripling were starting.

they need to show the Yankees - and themselves - that they can compete

Getting tired of watching Biggio strike out with his bat resting on his shoulder.

I really like Biggio, but he is going to have to be more aggressive with two strikes. He must be amongst the leaders at striking out looking.

He will learn that when CB Bucknor is behind the plate you better be ready for a crappy strike zone.

Couple bad strike calls early on. Not a shock when it's CB Bucknor behind the plate.

98 mph fastball and he throws 3 consecutive breaking balls to Voit, who finally hammers one off the wall

Sigh. This will go down as one of the ugliest series in Jay's history.

How is Bucknor still an umpire? His strike zone is all over the place. Let Merryweather throw the heat.

Bucknor gave Tanaka everything and won't give Merryweather anything

In 17 innings so far in this series, the Jays have held the Yankees off the scoreboard 4 times

I was just going to post this.

17 innings
4 scoreless
32 hits
35 runs

It's a blood bath.

Jays finding out just how close they aren't.

Even though Merrywether struggled a bit, it would be stupid to take him out after one inning. Lots of guys struggle in the first and then settle. He hasn't even faced the lineup yet.
