The Ducks shipped out top dman Dahlin today in search for some more consistency up front.

Miller is a consistent performer in the SIM and in the NHL. Provides way more depth up front now.

The picks offset the difference in age and contract

Dahlin is awesome, I hate moving him. But with Provorov, Werenski, Klingberg and Theodore, Dahlin was the odd man out.

Not a bad deal for Anaheim at all but I actually really like it for Calgary. I think Dahlin is going to be real good and his contract is too nice, and Phoenix is always good and Calgary got so many picks in 2022 already

Ya I think long term it is better for Calgary (2+ years), but for this year and next it works for me.

The Phoenix 1st will be the determining factor for value.

Either way, winning is more fun. This team deserves a chance to win
