The Montreal Canadiens made a last ditch effort to bolster their team in an attempt to cling on to the 8th seed in the East.

The Habs came together with Dallas and sent Andrew Copp and Jack Quinn for two way wizard Mark Stone.

Stone was a target of the Habs for about a week. He was identified because of his success playing with Mcdavid in Anaheim earlier this season.

The Habs went after 4 specific players and were happy to be able to land 1.

In other news the team is expected to name Conner McDavid captain before their next game.

It is expected that Stone may be tried in a shutdown role with Danualt before being being reunited with Mcdavid.

Thanks to Turd for an easy trade once again. Look for Montreal to look for more trades before the puck drops on their next game.

Stone was an awesome sim player and elite 2-way guy for Dallas but whatever our mix is/was just was not getting it done. We'll mix things up as we head down the stretch and into the off-season.
