Rusedski stirring the pot saying Rafa doesn't like the surface of the ATP WTF (it suits Fed more) and with his knees bothering him, it's an easy out.

Roger must be wondering if he should have entered anyway. Playing at 40% effort he might have won, albeit playing at 40% effort is a good way to get hurt.

This is the greatest thing I have seen all day. It's like the ATP is like how could we upset everyone in 2017....O I know let's have players select models who will then reveal which group the players will be in for the ATP Next Gen Finals. Look how happy Dennis is.

Well rats, Shapo loses to Chung by a 1-4, 4-3(5), 4-3(4), 4-1 set scoreline. Felix won his opening round match at the Slovak Open, however.

Denis bounces back with a win today over Italian wild-card entry Gianluigi Quinzi. Chung is already through to the semi-finals, thus the final match between Denis and Andrey Rublev will decide who joins Chung in the semi-finals.

Rublev takes the opening set 4-1 - Shapo started out okay and then totally fell apart, hopefully he can re-calibrate in set 2.

Rublev takes set 3 in a tie-breaker - Lots of winners, but also lots of unforced errors as well from both guys.
Edit: Love how we can listen in to coach Laurendeau and Shapo discussing Rublev's blister on his foot (lol)

Shapo bagels Rublev in set 4 and we are going the distance. Rublev seems to be moving okay, so the blister on his foot is likely more mental than physical.

Rublev wins the match via a tie-breaker in the 5th set. It was a very entertaining match and I can envision many clashes between these two over the next dozen years or so.
