I have a feeling the Flames will be flying tonite.

Monahan is feeling better and with game 1 jitters out of the way I expect our top line of Hudler-Monahan-Gaudreau to be much more of a handful for the Canucks tonite.

And the BBC (Bennett, Backlund, Colborne) line should be harder to handle as well as Bennett continues to play with reckless abandon and Colborne dominates the play down low.

And Ferland, Stajan and Jones seem to be finding some chemistry. Can't wait to see the puck drop.

Oh and Vcr has now lost seven straight playoffs games on home ice - can they go for eight?

If the Canucks lose tonight, they will become the first NHL team to lose 8 straight playoff home games.

Here's to making them another statistic boys!

Only the number is a crapshoot.

He's here to stay.

“VICTORY IS OURS!!!!” The cheers were heard from the armory, as the Knights of Calgarie celebrated a hard fought battle.
Archduke Burke wiped a bead of sweat from his brow.
“You seem troubled, brother.” King Treliving said as he placed a hand on Burke's shoulder.
“Our most prominent Knights seemed tentative on the battlefield.”
“It is no cause for concern. Young Bennett, former Knight of Kingston proved himself, Prince Ferland showed great strength, Colborne never surrendered. You couldn’t ask for more. We have taken the first fight.”
“I suppose your right.”
A servant emerged from the large wooden doors. “Knight Bennett is here.”
“Excellent, send him in.” Knight Bennett walked in and bent down on one knee.
“My liege, you summoned me.”
“Yes. Please rise.” With a puzzled look, Bennett rose only to be caught off guard by the embrace of his king.
“You have made our city very proud. I expect big things from you in the next battle. Now kneel.”
Knight Bennett knelt on one knee. King Treliving drew his sword. “You are no longer a Knight. I DUB THEE, PRINCE BENNETT OF THE SECOND BRIGADE.”
“My liege, I shall not let you down.”

Anything better than Kris Russell naming his bull "Red Mile"

Quote:
Eric Francis ‏@EricFrancis 12m12 minutes ago
"You know you’re in Western Canada when a guy owns a bull. Awesome,” Brad Treliving on Kris Russell's bull, Red Mile. http://bit.ly/1aDfWRH
Btw. here's the scouting report on the bull - which no one has ridden for 8 seconds yet....

Quote:
This bull’s record is very similar to Vieira’s bull. He hasn’t been around all that long, he doesn’t give up qualified rides, and he’s probably going to get thoroughly tested here. Lowe is coming off a second place finish in Nampa, Idaho, last week, and he looked like a guy who really belongs at this level of competition. Red Mile is probably going to go to the right, into Lowe’s hand. He’s a pretty salty bull — he got the best of Tanner Byrne last month at a PBR Canada event — but he should be a good fit for Lowe.
Here's a pic..

Spoiler!

A win tonight would be huge for a multitude of reasons. Not going to call it a must-win as we have already assured a split in Vancouver but coming home 2-0 to the C of Red with 3 of next 4 games at the Saddledome would be massive.

Believe, believe in me, believe
In the resolute urgency of now
And if you believe there's not a chance tonight
Tonight, so bright
Tonight
We'll crucify the insincere tonight
We'll make things right, we'll feel it all tonight
We'll find a way to offer up the night tonight
The indescribable moments of your life tonight
The impossible is possible tonight
Believe in me as I believe in you, tonight

Coach Desjardins at the mic. Said Bieksa is a game-time decision, he "should be good to go tonight." No other updates. #Canucks

was this due to the Ferland hit?
