The Fan 960 morning show played Roxette as their artist of the day before the Kings game and the Flames won so now they are playing it every game day to hopefully continue winning.

The morning show on Fan 960 played Roxette on game day vs LA and game 1 of this series...hoping to make it tradition!
I think the boys learn from game 1 and dominate this one. 4-1 Flames. Bennett, Mony, Hockey, Backlund

And I've had "The Look" stuck in my head for the last week so thanks Fan 960!

Yeah Rhett Warrener chose them as the "artist of the day". Was good to get the LA win, and then again the Game 1 win against the Canucks.
And one line of the lyrics from "The Look" has the line "her loving is a wild dog" which the boys are singing as "her loving is a wide dog"!

I thought I read somewhere that if you buy a jersey from the Flames and a player changes numbers, they will change the jersey number for you.....I would look into that

Good point. I wonder if he'll try and get 93 next season or if Burke sticks to his rules of lower numbers

Norm!
VIDEO
this was a video that I put together for my team talking about mental preperation, but the first 2 and a half minutes really strike me as today's game

Why doesn't Burke allow high numbers? Never understood that. I'm guessing Sam goes 39 next year.

39 is my guess too, and might be why Conroy was pushing to allow numbers up to 44.

Does anyone have a good idea what number Bennett uses next season? 39 would be my best guess (keeps his numbers and is low enough for Burke).
e: late to party. Having the flames officially stated a cap, 44 as per Conroy?

He thinks it promotes more of a team atmosphere and that higher "flashy" numbers imply self-promotion.

I don't remember an exact reason, but there was an older thread with some link to an article quoting Burke about having an upper limit on jersey numbers.
