As it happened last year with the random rosters, some teams are crazy strong compared to the majority.

Also, waivers already show some decent players available and we have always had problems with them so I was leaning towards having them turned off. So does this mean that we shouldn't try to put unwanted players through waivers and pick up new ones? Or are they only being turned off due to the bug?

No waivers just reduces complications and problems later on down the road with the Assistant GM waiving guys you didn't want him to. Then someone else will claim him and you have to get him traded back, and if it's a CPU team that claimed him you can't... it's just not worth the headache to deal with.

It also nerfs some of the better teams a bit because they have more difficult cap issues to contend with.

Anyway if anyone needs a 1C or 2C, give me a shout...

Probably pretty obvious to most, but the NHL 14 iPhone app is phenomenal. You can sign FA's, check out other teams rosters and make trade offers, check other standings/stats, check your team messages, check your schedule, see other teams transactions, etc. It's just extremely useful to do all this without even having to turn on your Xbox. I made a list of potential trade bait while lying in bed, my wife is laughing at me but I love it.

Edit: Stupid question, how do you set your team to CPU play for you if you are unable to play?

Just noticed Drouin is on waivers!?!? 19Yzerman19 I'm going to assume this was a mistake and won't claim him. I thought we were turning waivers off?

Yeah I'm not sure what's going on. First of all, waivers are supposed to be off. Second and more importantly, Drouin isn't eligible for waivers anyway, he's 18 years old. I sent him back to the CHL for the year because my team was over the cap.

Did you see that on the iphone app or in-game? Because Lox says that in game he's not showing up as claimable. If someone IS able to claim him, let me know and trade him back because that shouldn't happen.
