Flames we're trying to not let a losing streak reach 3 games heading into the All Star break. Bertuzzi made sure the team came with the win in the shootout.

best result possible; 2 pts for the good guys, a point for the Jackets to catch the nucks

That's why the club missed Bert - totally brings a different element to this team.

What a crazy crazy game, but can't complain about the entertainment value of it. Well done Bert!!

Glad they got the win and there were definitely some good things but way way way too much 07-08 in this game. Some fabulous stretches and some completely absent ones. Zero attention to detail on the defensive side of the puck. I think the Flames have been not trailing for like 10 of the last 180 minutes. They need a break.

Thank god. 9 points up is great to be, and CBJ getting the extra point hurts the 'Nuckers.

Bertuzzi has been pretty clutch so far this season. The backhand was a thing of beauty. No stupid wrist shots at the glove.

A crappy effort results in 2 points - that's when you realize this might be not such a bad season.

Awesome.

Bertuzzi looked good....bumps Vandermeer off the second line which alone makes him worthy of praise.

Kipper was pretty impressive in the SO.

Not sure they deserved the win, but I'll take the two points and run. Kipper was great... in the shootout.

Aucoin sucks.

Thank god they get a week off to, perhaps, refocus to some degree.

Glad CBJ got a point, just because that screws with Edmonton and Vancouver a bit.

Let me be the first to congratulate the crowd tonight. They were fully into it, and made the game better. That's how it's done.

You can't say we didn't miss him-Bertuzzi definitely solidified the second line on an all-round shaky night.

Thought Kipper was pretty confident with the poke checks, 3 in a row

I am very ticked with this team still but a win is a win two points going into the break,

I like the "no quit" in this game. Bert with a nice backhand and a little johnny Bower throwback with Kipper and the pokecheck.
