Guess who gets the Leafs this Saturday night. Remember, the NHL schedule maker is a Grease fan.

I’m gonna say we hear more than once about the “struggling” Calgary Flames.

Yep plus the conditioning stint with Austin Czarnik is close to expiring.

We have went from where is the depth to who do we sit. funny how quick things change. I would move czarnik for a conditional pick or just waive him when he comes back. Ive seen enough of him to know in a tough playoff series Id rather have some jam in the bottom six.

A very good problem to have. This amount of offensive depth is a great motivating tactic for players to bust their ass and get results game in, game out. Also gives a lot of flexibility if you need to add a bit of spark or switch it up.

Fun fact of the game: the Flames are the only team Matthews has never scored against, and he is the least successful against with only 1 Assist in 5 Games. Hope it doesn't end tonight

How is this game not a national broadcast tonight? SN really dropped the ball on this one. Good job, idiots.

Leafs suck. Go Flames!

It's on TSN in Ontario. Apparently that's considered national.

In fairness, Connor McDavid is a Saturday Night premier type player; I don't blame them for wanting to showcase him.

Comments like this blow my mind............why would SNET need to make this a national game for this, how is this a dropped ball.

There will be regional coverage in Leafs nation, regional coverage in Calgary. It's a Thursday night, with most other Canadian teams also playing tonight. You actually think Flames / Leafs is a big enough draw that fans in Edmonton and Winnipeg and Vancouver will not watch their local team and watch our game?

It’s almost as if there are thousands of factors driving the NHL schedule.

4-1 Flames. Looking forward to a bounceback game from Rittich.

Hard to sit any of Rinaldo, Frolik, Rieder or Jankowski after the games they've had recently. No need to rush Tkachuk back either (Flames are winning, would rather he return 100% if possible).

I would also try to send Bennett down for a conditioning stint (I believe he doesn't have to accept) -- perhaps he can work a bit on his offensive game while he's down there.

Losing to the Leafs is not allowed.

NOT allowed Flames.

Maybe tell him he'd play centre there, and see how that pans out.

I'd get Tkachuk in asap. His game was falling off a bit and I'd like to get him going again.
