I'd like to see Hamilton spend the game in the press box... not punishment, just a chance to think about his commitment and level of effort

Each win is important. Does putting Batrowski on for Hamilton give them the best chance to win?

I don't know who's going to win but I expect it to be high scoring.
Our d better score some goals though, as it's becoming quite clear they are incapable of helping keep the puck out of their own net.

Bennett had 4 shots on net last night. Jagr had 5.
It's starting to come for them. I want to see what they can do when we get last change and get better matchups.
I would like to see our top 4 d juggled though. Move Hamonic up with gio and see what double and tj can do together.

Not necessarily but sometimes a reset can help immensely. We have seen it in the past what a one game sit down can do to a guy, Gaudreau and Wideman. Fact is Hamilton and Brodie are not playing like we expect them too and rest and a reset can be a good thing.

Grats, Rittich!
This one could come down to a battle of superiority between the two 2013 first round draftees.
For the love of god and all that is good, please keep the colossal brain farts to a minimum...

I liked Freddie Hamilton better than Lazar.
Not that it's a high bar.

Gaudreau had like 5 career games at that point and Wideman was awful. Sitting Dougie for Bartkowski is a ridiculous suggestion

Dougie had a bad game and Brodie has had a bad road trip. Both of them at their worst are still miles better than Bartkowski.

Didn't say it wasn't. All I said was Hamilton and Brodie have been sub par and may benefit from a view from above.

When you have a bad game, you're not somehow thinking you had a good game.
Just gotta play it out, looking for a big game from Dougie. TJ with a bit more poise.
Janko with a goal.

Really excited to see Rittich start, this has been a long time coming for him. I fully expect the Flames to bounce back after last night and tighten up defensively.
