I mean, you're not wrong, but all teams outside of 4-5 are susceptible to losing to teams behind them in the standings regularly. It's almost as if the salary cap has created a high amount of parity in the league or something.
Plus, it's not like the Flames are anything more than a playoff bubble team this year anyways. They're right where I thought they would be at this point in the year.

Looking forward to this one, as the Flames/Sharks games are always exciting and the Flames seem to bring their best.
If we can grind out a win, I'll be very happy. The recent W, L, W, L isn't very nice.
At the very least if we're going to lose, please get a loser point!

If we don't win one tonight or Saturday we won't make playoffs.

i feel i am owed a victory tonight and saturday after losses to the canucks and jets.
I'd be willing to deal with a loss to the devils in between, as long as we can win tonight and sat.

GG needs to separate Johnny and Mony already. Hopefully they start on different lines come game time.

I hope they go back with Johnson. He was good last game again and the team just didn't score.
3-2 win, then beat the Devils and destroy the Oilers.

Not sure why GG isn't trying Johnny and Bennett. It's time to make a change and GG usually listens to us.

I am heading to the Dome tonight. I don't think they have lost yet in a game I have attended this year, so there is that!

Chad Johnson first off the ice this morning. He'll make his third consecutive start in net tonight. #Flames

Come Sunday I expected to see the Flames rightfully ahead of the Oilers in the standings.
Losses to WPG and VAN hurt, but I am still hopeful.
Tonight and Friday we face teams the night after they played Edmonton before ourselves facing the dirty greasers Saturday. Good time to start streaking tonight.
Go Flames Go!!

I don't understand keeping Monahan with Gaudreau.
It made sense for a while to try and get Monahan going, but he's such an anchor on Gaudreau at this point that it's hurting the team. I'd even prefer to have Stajan with Gaudreau - really anyone but Monahan.

That's what I said a game ago. When they were separated I felt both played a lot better and it also elevated Bennetts game. We had a legit three good lines.
I still like the idea of Johnny and Mony on PP but that's it. I just don't feel we're as dangerous as we could or should be.
