Double shifting Monahan this early into the game? I have a feeling this is going to be a good one. Money is hungry.

Is it just me, or has Monahan's skating gotten better as the season progresses?

Great play by Byron and Colborne there, almost cashed in.

I think Hartley's line shake up worked. That and a couple of days rest at home helped.

Flames with some good jump early, and they're generating some decent chances. Just need some of that puck luck to start going our way.

Yup. I just don't trust that 3rd pairing at all. I get nervous every time they're on the ice.

Excellent shift. Can't believe Glencross didn't score there. Flames are so ridiculously snake-bitten right now. So frustrating.

Raymond looks like he's up 80% speed. probably a 20% jump up form last game. Looks decent tonight.

With the Flames being fragile right now, it's probably a 'first goal wins'situation.

Either they score and open the floodgates, or Dallas scores and it's 'uh oh'

Can't keep passing up these clear look shots. Got to do better than putting it straight into the goalies glove/body.

But saying that, the whole team just looks much sharper and they seem to have more jump. Looking like our flat display against the Rangers may well have been a one off. Got to cash and get that first goal though.

If they can get a lead and hold it for a while, I think they might get a bunch.

I don't like hearing how close to milestones opposition players are... Benn can stay at 298pts, thanks
