I am embarrassed to call myself a Flames fan right now!!! At least show a little pride. They’ll probably #### the rest of the season up so bad that the Oilers end up passing them.

With the season on the line, since the big win against Edmonton, the Flames have been outscored 20-6 to post four straight losses. That is ****ing awful.

Keeping the management that decided to hire Gulutzan and trade all the valuable pucks in this draft to assemble this tire fire is dangerous. Firings should start with Burke and Treliving. The new management will find a new coach.
Keeping this management around and you most likely will have another Dallas Eakins/ Gulutzan as the next coach.

What gets my goat is the waste that happened with this season. Gio's best all around season, Gaudreau has 90 flippin points, Monahan with a career year, Smiths insanely strong 3/5ths of a season. Them old guys are pissed right the hell off right now I bet too. I mean if I were Gio and Smith I would be.
EDIT: OH! And a great sophmore season from Tkachuk too. There's another waste of a really strong ELC year. AND Dougie leading the league in goals. Just... man it kind of burns.

Well that would reduce the Oilers chances at a high 1st round pick and would increase the value of our 4th round pick.

Seriously I know we’re depressed but this is a bit over the top.
4 “top 6” forwards and 3 “top 4” dmen is the constitution of most good teams in the league. It’s called the salary cap.
Are Smith’s numbers really bottom half? I actually don’t know. But I do know he was one of the team’s MVPs until the bye week and before his injury I’d say goaltending was a strength for the team.
The roster has some issues, including depth and a bonifide scoring RW, but let’s not get carried away. A lot of players had fantastic seasons.

Time to shut down Smith, Monahan, and anyone else not 100%. Stop pretending these games matter and give the young guys a chance to show what they could do with a new coaching staff.

The league barely has 50 goal scorers anymore...one or two in a good year. Need more natural goal scoring obviously though
