This Loyola-Chicago offense reminds me of a Rick Majerus offense. That's not a coincidence. Porter Moses was Majerus' top assistant at St. Louis (2007-11)

FSU down by 4 let the clock run out with 12 seconds left in game, instead of fouling and hoping for some missed free throws and a miracle. It’s not totally out of the realm, with that amount of time, and that the strategy in college hoops at any time, never mind in a game to get to the Final Four. Coach got short with interview after about that, saying game was over and no point to foul.
The very interesting part is that the betting line was Michigan +4.5 points, so FSU covered as they were down 4. Putting Michigan on the line and them getting 1 or 2 free throws, and then FSU missing any last shots, would have mean FSU did not cover.
Interesting to see if the coach and any school boosters make some large purchases over the summer thanks to the ability for the team to cover the spread.

Novas 6th trip to the Final Four, and third in the last nine years. Remarkable what Jay Wright has done with this program.

Karma finally caught up with Allen for all the dirty things he did on the court.

Duke had that, unlucky last shot in regulation didn’t fall.

Got a little tense at times, but always a good day when Duke is eliminated. I can now watch the final four in peace.

interesting final four - the right side of the bracket has followed chaulk... the left side is a bit of a surprise...Michigan was a dark horse pick, but Loyola was a shock.

pretty amazing... i think the odds of a perfect bracket are 1 in 280 trillion or something wild like that.

I am calling it now. Loyola is going to beat Michigan and then fall to the Villanova/KU winner.

Final 4 Saturday.
Pullin for Loyola but dont think they have much of a shot against a Michigan club that has looked the best of all thus far. Villanova/Kansas on paper should be a beauty but will probably be non-dramatic.
Just caught the hi-lites of the ND/UConn ladies game from last night. Now that's what final 4 games should look like. Just great stuff at the end.

Wagner single handedly keeping Michigan in the game in the first half.

Loyola Chicago doing its thing. Ingram smothering rebounds. This is fun to watch.

Loyola played them straight up without relying on 3s. Huge respect for Coach Moser and that team. Totally deserved to be there. Pretty sure if Wichita State had stayed in the Valley the Shockers would have missed the tournament.

Nothing says “we can’t guard you” like moving to a 2-3 zone.
Bill Self already on his heels.
