A third set tie-breaker to decide the match - Geez, I didn't think we would have been here a little over 20 minutes ago.

Oh man, a double fault by Troicki in the tie-breaker gives Shapo the match. Definitely not a Rembrandt performance today, but he managed to grind out a win.

Great to see another 3 Canadians in the second round at a masters, every tourney is interesting lately. Vasek is apparently playing Shaggy in round 2, no word yet if Scooby Doo will be in the stands:

*edit* sorry I just noticed he's not Shaggy, made that assumption based on the hair and the fact that he arrived in a van but then I noticed he's Russian - it's just his mobile blood doping unit.

Medvedev was pretty heated at the end of his match with Stefanos Tsitsipas - The mics were still hot and I heard "bull#### Russian" from Medvedev (I'm assuming that's what Tsitsipas called him).
/Medvedev won in three sets by the way.

Looks like Osaka has run of steam. Winner at Indian Wells, then beat Serena first round but has run into Svitolina.

Upset alert!
David Goffin has been knocked out of Miami Open by a score of 6-0, 6-1.
A bit surprising to see him out of this tournament this easily. That said, it's Goffin's first match coming back since missing a good month with a pretty serious eye injury.

Geez, some early morning blowouts on the men's side today:
Sousa beats Goffin 6-0 6-1
Schwartzman beats Jarry 6-3 6-1
Krajinovic beats Broady 6-3 6-2
Edit: As Karl says above, need to cut Goffin some slack coming back from that eye injury. He's had a terrible run of luck the last year or so (hurt his ankle pretty bad on a tarp at the back of the court at the French Open last year)

Doesn't look as breezy as it did yesterday so that should bode well for the Raonic serve. Go Milos Go!

Milos with another break of the Ymer serve to take the opening set 6-3. Some impressive play at the net by Milos in that opening set.

Joker not looking at all good in dropping the opening set to Paire by a 6-3 score.
Edit: Paire dispatches Novak in straight sets.
