I believe the only game they were running that deal for was the last game vs the Forge for the Canadian Championship...

Any idea what the West jet sale for the Whitecaps game is and the code?

Thanks! I only need 3 tickets anyway, so 3x $35 isn't much more.

What time would you say is "early enough" for a Saturday 4pm kickoff?

Shermanator, any advice around the recommended time to arrive at the R&C for a 4:00pm Saturday kickoff at Spruce Meadows? How are seats on the bus allocated? I believe I read earlier that the Foot Soldiers have priority on said bus (which makes perfect sense) but we'd both like to buy you a beer if you can help show us the ropes and assist us in arriving to the game on time!

The last saturday game we crammed around 70 people onto a yellow school bus, then the owner came on and said next time there would be two busses!

The bus leaves 90 minutes before kickoff and the pub usually does a 15 minute last call. If you want food, I'd recommend to come to the bar around 12:30 or 1 as the place will be pretty busy as we get closer to kickoff. Otherwise 1:30 or 2 should be okay. Also paying your bill after you've finished ordering can help with the rush to get bills when the bus shows up.
The best advice I can give is just to mingle with others that are there if you can.
As for any allocation, I was mostly trying to ensure that anyone in the group had a spot on the bus. We have not yet had an issue where anyone was left behind. We did have a bus with 70 people on it a few weeks ago, but now that we have 2 busses on weekends, it should not be a problem. We can seat 96 comfortably and about 130 uncomfortably. The bar manager will give out tickets to the bus but I've never seen the bus check for tickets.
No beer needed for the advice but I'm sure I will accept one.

Glad to hear that there will be two buses. My old man and I will likely need one

Bus from the Rose and Crown is the best way to attend the game. I'm so glad I didn't spring for a season ticket holder parking pass.
Make sure you get there early so there is plenty of time to have a few rounds of drinks and keep it worth their while to support this initiative!

Tried to get an extra couple seats in the 200s but Ticketmaster sucks. Oh well. Looks like less than 500 left.

Looks like it will be close to a sellout...everything $60 and less is gone.
Cavalry FC has a big opportunity here. I hope they are able to accommodate all these people on the grounds. Would hate to see another Home Opener on our hands. Even now, food lines are ridiculous with the stadium holding 1/3 capacity...

I checked on ticketmaster out of curiosity (already got my tickets), and I was shocked how few seats are left outside of 105 (which is still more than half sold).

I tried getting four tickets at 10 am and keeps saying someone else has beat me to it, even though it was on the ticket master map.
Only sections 104 to 106 left but I'm not paying $80+ for those!
Update: logged back in and got tickets in 102.

Tried repeatedly to get a group of 5 for the Whitecaps game, and right from the start Ticketmaster wouldn't let me secure the seats because they were disappearing too fast. In under 10 minutes all of the $63 and lower seats were gone (except singles), and I'm sure that the $89 and $100 will be gone soon too (although there is a definite stall at those price points).
Nice to see that tickets are moving fast. Can't justify $89 or $100 though - I'd rather go to 2-3 league games instead if I'm completely honest.

Shady tactics by Ticketmaster and/or Cavalry on that one. Withhold two entire sections to push people into higher priced seats, and then 29 minutes later open up cheaper seats.
Whatever - paid $63 x 5 and feel OK about it, but would have been pissed if I had paid $100 for fear of missing out, only to have $40 seats open up right afterwards.
