Image/file hosting?

I need an image host thats preferably free but could be cheap. Could I get some recommendations please?

-Needs to be easy and quick to manage images/files/folders
-Storage requirements are very low to get me free if possible
-Images need to be able to be linked without pesky "these images are remotely linked" thing
-Traffic wont be very high either, but there will be some traffic. Something like on the funny or cool, a few thousand views per month or so.

I've used photobucket for years to store gifs.

It's slow as molasses at times, but it's free and I've never had and trouble linking to anything stored there.
