This week, the race kicks off in Winnipeg, but like any smart people, they quickly get the hell out of there and come to Calgary. Ty & Kat have home ice advantage and make full use of it, easily winning the leg despite taking time out to search for (and finding) the Express Passes.

Gisele struggled figuring out the task at the Library and remembering people's pancake orders, so the wrestlers are down for the count.

They really should film this in the summer or at least fall or something. Filming in the middle of brown ass winter definitely didn’t do Winnipeg or Calgary any favours.

Sadly, it was filmed in late April, which is even more depressing. But I agree with you.

Even some of the stock footage they interlaced was summery. Almost to say "see - in summer it isn't too bad!"

I was very surprised that Jermaine and Justin were able to move up so far.
Other than that they performed like I expected them too and why I didn't want to pick them over Gail and Gisele heh.

I was stoked Gracie and Lilly didn't get picked and defaulted to me. I think they are going deep. Same with Tycat. I got a good feeling about my picks!

They were all on 8th ave and could have had a footrace to the finish, but I assume they wanted the shot crossing the bridge, so the camera person probably told the cabby to drive to the Memorial side for all teams. I think there is a lot of background stuff that happens for filming we don't see. Like they started in the snow, but immediately after it didn't seem like the same day.

I was also amused at them cutting to old aerial shots of Calgary with everything green, then back to brown. It's gotta be shots from a very early season, because Brookfield was still under construction.

This week, the teams travel to Smithers and Allie & Eddie go to smithereens. They obviously edited it to make it seem closer, but I'm sure they were far behind.

Happy Allie and Eddy are gone.
Was really painful to watch him stumble through challenges.
Ty and Kat easily the current favorites.
Deven and Amanda the most annoying.
Ben and Anwar the most disappointing so far.
The Queens solidly safe again.

I was so happy this wasn't a non-elimination. It's been painful to watch Allie and Eddie.

Ty and Kat are doing great. I hope they don't stay on top for the whole race though, as that gets a little boring to watch.

My teams both in the middle. The less I see of Ben and Anwar the better, because hopefully that means that they get the hang of things and stick around for awhile.

Eddie- how did he think he could win this race. He gets so worked up, he doesn’t have the temperament to do well in this situation.

Wow, did I pick a stinker of a team with Allie and Eddie. Don't know what she's like 'cause we never got to see her do anything but try to calm Eddie down as he blundered through challenge after challenge. Could see even the lady he was trying to talk to the car about was getting sick of it (they stopped showing us the count after his 15th attempt...)

Gracie and Lillie are growing on me. I hope they do well!
