Been out of town for a month.

Team is still a joke.

Why is the coach still employed?

Probably. Unless the Flames suddenly remember out how to score goals.

Johnny on the left side with a fake slap shot that gets turned over. Gio gets out skated and he Hamilton make a mess of things. 1 on 2 goal against.

Have to laugh.

But really, can we stop doing 2017/18 things yet? By that I mean tripping over ourselves unnecessarily at every opportunity.

I really don’t see why Hathaway keeps drawing in - he’s been useless for awhile now

Yeah, that wasn't only on Hamilton. He and Gio had a nice Alphonse and Gaston routine going on.

Color me shocked. They really should decline powerplays. They hurt this team more than help it. Cannot get rid of this crap coaching staff fast enough for my liking. They all should have been fired yesterday!!!

I fail to see how that goal was on coaching.

Good thing about being down 1-0 is we probably won't blow a lead

The Stajan line has been the least of the Flames issues in the first period.

Need a ton more from the other 3 lines.

Does Backlund have a point since he signed?

Not only that but drawing into our top 9 as well.

At least put someone there that has a history of ever producing in their career that can maybe find it at some point. You're hampering your offense for basically no reason whatsoever.

So, on that powerplay. Troy Brouwer was doing a better job screening the fans in section 105 than he was the goalie. He was completely out of position to deflect a puck or snag any potential rebound as well. And, he ended up two steps behind the guy who cleared the puck because he was two steps out of position. Though it isn't his fault the defence Flames'd up the other end of that SHG.
