The whole team needs to take a long hard look in the mirror. They’re gonna have to play lights out there rest of the way to make the playoffs. What a disappointing season so far.

The way they are playing there's no way they make up ground and make the playoffs. Time to sell and recoup picks for the draft and make noise there.

GM's should get at least two coach hires and he's going absolutely nowhere given he just got an extension. Trelving has one more coach hire so he needs to make sure he gets the next one right.

I thought they were showing good perseverance coming back three time, (four counting the offside goal). But goaltending let them down. Rittich was playing small and weak all night. He wasn't tracking, even on the saves he made.
I thought the third line was bad in their own zone, and the bottom pairing was in trouble as well. The fourth line was pretty invisible except for Lazar (Brouwer was obviously hampered by the cage IMO). Backlund and Tkachuk had good games, and I thought the top four was good as well.
Interested to see Gillies tomorrow. Unless, of course, Smith makes a comeback.

Really hope we don't trade a pile of assets to get a scorer and miss the playoffs by a couple points.
This team isn't ready to contend yet. Get rid of Gully, hope one of our D prospects can jump into the top 4 next season then move Brodie or Hamonic.

Rittich with an awful game, which is going to happen with backups once in a while. Too bad Flames put themselves in a position with so little margin for error.
If it truly is a sellers market, maybe Tre should sell a piece or two and reload in the offseason. This team just has so few assets with which to acquire anything of great value.
