Flames Jr reporter...my son is asking for help

Not sure if I can post this on this forum or not..

So my son is asking for help on some questions to ask the Flames when he is the Flames Jr.Reporter.
So my son has picked..

Sam Bennett
Troy Brouwer
Johnny Gaudreau
Dougie Hamilton
Travis Hamonic

As possible players to interview (he doesn't get to pick the player, but he has to give 8 questions to ask them.


He really wants to ask Sam how many pull ups he can do now..


But he wants to know what other people want to ask them..


So if you have any good questions you want to see a 10 year old ask a Flame...fire away.

Here's a question I'd have for each player.

Bennett:
What's your favourite forward position to play?

Brouwer:
Who has been the funniest teammate you've ever played with during your 12 NHL seasons (and why is it Kris Versteeg)?

Gaudreau:
For players trying to play like you, should they try to work more on their speed or stickwork?

Hamilton:
Who's your favourite defense partner you've played with in Calgary and Boston?

Hamonic:
Why did you choose to wear #24 instead of #3 when you came to Calgary?

Ask Bennett if the Flames have held on to him too long?

Ask Brouwer why he is a useless waste of cap space?

Ask Johnny if the Flames should trade Ferland while his value is high?

Ask Dougie if it is true he forced Treliving to keep Freddie on the NHL roster?

etc.


just kidding, should be a fun experience for your kid. I think part of the charm of these segments are the kids asking pretty innocent questions, so I don't have any suggestions.

if the timing works out, i'd encourage a lot of Olympic questions.

Or something like:

Which teammate would make have the best shot at the podium in:

curling
luge
bobsled
moguls
ice dance
etc

Alternatively have every question be about a Dougie-bomb in the hopes that it will get Dougie to bomb your kids interview.

AS for Brouwer, he is not 100% sure he wants him as one of the players.. lol I cant imagine why..lol

Ask them non related hockey questions and you will likely get the best and most enthusiastic answers.

Things like, favourite school subject, were you ever sent to the principals office, favourite teacher and why, second favourite sport... etc..

Dougie Hamilton reads a lot... ask him his favourite book growing up.

A good one for Brouwer would be to ask him what he did when he had his day with the Cup.
