This will be his Coronation as one of the league's top prospects

William Stromgren has a shot at making Team Sweden; he was on Scott Wheeler's team predictions in the Athletic a few weeks ago.

Yan Kuznetsov will likely play for Team Russia.

Clarke not on the list for the Kings? That surprised me.

He was a surprise to be on the list in the first place (6th rounder who didn’t play a year) and now it’s surprising he’s not on the list given how great a season he is having

I wouldn't say so.

He was mentioned as "possible", but that's a pretty deep group of forwards.

Quite a few sub-6 feet forwards.

there are likely 10 locks among the forward group, so very difficult for Kerins to have made the selection roster, and very few openings for the remaining forwards - 11 guys vying for 4 spots

Something is up with the Brandt Clarke snub besides performance

That group of D selected over him is.... meh to say the least. There’s always debatable cuts but this might be the most questionable I’ve ever seen

Iorio over Brandt Clarke? Only two right shots invited period? Something reeks

Beniers as his center would be nice.

No Yan for Russia. They’re not taking any players playing in North America.

I will be cheering against Russia more than usual this year. Hope they lose every game.

I think Russia missed by not taking Matvei Petrov, who is playing in the OHL.

44 pts in 27 games for North Bay, as an 18 year old.

He probably had a decent shot to start the season, but Stromgren hasn't done much to force his way on the team so far this season.
