Woof... apart from a pre-apex Iggy, those teams were woefully short of goalscorers and in an era of oversized goalie equipment, clutching and grabbing, no two-line passes, no trapezoid, no delayed offside etc.

This season is going to be one of the greatest debacles in Flames history (of which there are many) if the team can't hit 200 goals with the headstart they have.

I actually asked a friend who works for a sports betting site what odds he'd place on this bet. He looked into the numbers and said before season he would probably have set odds at 15-1. At today's date he said 40-1.

Someone is getting a very bad deal lol good thing it's for charity.

IMO any actual serious trash talking at this point reflects pretty much solely on the trash talkers much more so than the bettor

Yeah now, he was an ass about it at the start of the season with I told you so's after 3 games and constant posting about it. Even when he was called out in here at first. Now it's all about the charity because he knows he is wrong but doesn't want to just come out and admit it was a bad take.

And this little discussion wasn’t so much about the prediction as much as him trying to explain away the current production greatly exceeding it by pointing at some sort of “soft schedule” the Flames supposedly have had.
