I have no idea what that is. I’ll give you $200 total.

He is selling Lindeman's Bin 65 Chardonnay wine. In the wine industry a token is 60 bottles. Since he has 3 tokens, he is selling 180 bottles for $1,800, which is about retail price. You are saving the deposit and GST.

He probably thought that only people who knew the lingo would be interested in the wine. A token is equal to five cases of wine, which is 60 bottles. It comes from the 1500s when kings in Europe would hold parties in the Spring. They would give married guests 60 bottles of wine so that the husband and wife could each drink one bottle of wine during the month of June, as a "token" of the king's appreciation.

I learned something new! Never a dull moment on CP. Also, that's a lot of wine.

What I really want to know is how OP went all Tony Soprano to end up with that much wine. Did you have a shootout with bikers too?

Maybe he won one of those wine draws at work???

If it is wine, maybe they could give a brief description on what kind.

It looks like it is all Lindeman's Bin 65 Chardonnay based on the description. He probably would have said a mixed token if there were different bottles, but he said bin 65 each all. I took that to mean each token is all Bin 65.

If $10 a bottle is to rich for you, I'd love to know what a cheap wine is.

I thought it was more like $30 and even that's reasonable.

If the Flames land Eichel we should get Brad Treliving to buy us each a bottle, because he probably saved his job for another season or two...
