Serhyenko is interesting. He was ranked the #9 goaltender by central scouting for the 2021 draft. He had really good stats as a 17 year old but came crashing down in his draft year.
Pro tip: If you have a pulse and hold the stick with your right hand down the shaft for a few minutes when the stats guys observe you play, then you might get an invite to flames camp.

The poirier/kuznetzov pairing has me very intrigued.

I like the center depth. Zary, Nikolaev, Francis, Kerins

I can tell my own thoughts from those of the Flames' management. You apparently can't.

Looking forward to seeing what Kinnvall does....

One of these times, a Euro FA has to pan out. LOL.

I have optimism that Kinnvall is the heir to the PP QB position.

And possibly a solution to needed offense from the blue line.

Not immediately, but within the next couple seasons.

Damn I hate that this is closed to the public. I miss all our awesome members who went, did write ups and provided video!

If Kuznetsov goes to St. John, they could be a pairing there too.

That would be ideal. The position is open for sure

Would that be a determining factor on which league he plays or more based on minutes?

How do you figure that would happen? Kuznetsov signed a contract and left the NCAA in the process. I cannot imagine he would be spending any time in the QMJHL or any of the other juniour leagues. He will play in Stockton this year.

Both Pelletier and Zary seem very mature. It’s probably just the language barrier and I don’t want to take anything away from Pelletier, but Zary in particular seems to be a guy who knows exactly what he needs to do to make this team. Great answers.

Another good interview on the FAN, this time with Ray Edwards. Lots of interesting insight on Flames prospects and their development

News from the interview that I was not aware of - Danielle Fujita is the Flames power skating coach
