Kind of funny feeling being two points up on a playoff spot, and then the next team above me is 6 points ahead.
Feels like Hall has just sucked the life out of my top line as Duclair and Couture have gone quiet since he got back

I've tried so many roster permutations. I've traded my best player, I've traded some bottom sixers, I've traded for a guy that couldn't make another team and made him a second liner and a fourth liner. I put a defensive guy on every line, and I've put a first liner on every line. I was excited about last nights game, where I placed every player and number from scratch.
Individually I like all of the players on the team, but maybe it's time to rethink.

Keep trading! You'll find a good fit eventually. Comes down to if you want to win games or have favorite players...I personally try to win which is why I had to move Tkachuk, I would have never done that otherwise. Nothing wrong with building a team of players you like though and riding it out if that's your style.

Yeah, I echo whats been said. Chemistry is a funny thing. But also there has to be a hot goalie algorythm in this thing as well. Look what happened with Fleury last year, when I got him in he went into God mode.
One thing that I did was try to get more speed in my lineup especially on the backend. Also having one forward on each line that's good on the forecheck seems to make a difference.
But again I'm waiting for the Sim to smite me like a old god from legends for thinking I've figured things out.

Fleury was God mode in regular season but turned into a useless bag of garbage in the playoffs. Regular season and playoffs are two completely different animals.

I tried trading for a goalie, and the hangup appeared to be that the guy that has been my #1 goalie for a year and a half is a replacement level bum. Half of my league trading partners disappeared because of Jake "Baby Hitler" Allen.

I dont know that I have ever seen 4 injuries to the same team since I started this thing...but here we are:
I also managed to win even with the injuries.
Game Notes
Alexander Edler is injured at 0:28 of 2nd period (Left Foot)
Nikita Zadorov is injured at 10:42 of 2nd period (Right Hand)
Brock Boeser is injured at 7:35 of 3rd period (Torn Left ACL)
Tanner Pearson is injured at 18:32 of 3rd period (Sports Hernia)
