Going for the Memorial Cup with Poirier and Francis after a WJC stint . Seems like the right move, don't think he was ready for the AHL yet.

It will be cool to see if him and Poirier and Francis can put it all together for that club. Definitely will be fun to follow the sea dogs the rest of the way this year!

Heat now only have 6 D on their roster

Either that or maybe it opens up the chance to send Valimaki down to get some reps. I’m excited about Kinnvall getting over the injury bug as well though and suiting up for some pro hockey!
